The Village of Danby nestles in the Esk Valley situated within the heart of the North Yorkshire moors, in one of the most peaceful un-spoilt areas of the National Park.

This attractive spacious cottage has been charmingly converted from farm buildings and is attached to the 17th century farm house.

Within walking distance there are two Public Houses serving excellent meals, a Post Office & General store, a bakery, tea-rooms, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park Centre and a railway station serving the picturesque Esk valley.

Danby is an ideal base for walking, mountain biking, horse riding, or touring, with many attractions only a short drive away. This is a wonderful location to combine a country/seaside holiday.

Ainthorpe Farm Cottage is located in the popular village of Danby in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. This comfortable cottage is both tastefully decorated and furnished with colour co-ordinated bedding, window seats etc. The cottage contains everything you will need to make your stay with us comfortable  and enjoyable.

The Accommodation comprises of:

Ground floor:

Entrance Hall: Separate WC and wash hand basin.

Kitchen: Well equipped including  dish washer, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and slow cooker.

Dining Area: In addition to the dining table and chairs there is a large window seat which looks out onto the cobbled court-yard.

Sitting Room: Open fire, TV, video, CD player, French doors leading to south facing court-yard.

First Floor: Three bedrooms; one double , two twin.

Double bedroom: Spacious with portable TV, cane cushioned sofa. Ample room for cot or additional sleeping arrangements. Panoramic views over fields and moors.

Bathroom: Three piece suite, electric shower and shaving point.

Heating is by night storage heaters/ open fire, hot water by immersion heater.
